President’s Message
Welcome to Fulcrum Insurance Programs, a new name in the program community with the same great people who made Mainstay Insurance Group a trusted partner of retail brokers and insurance carriers all across the US. We are excited to introduce our new brand which we feel more closely reflects our commitment to programs and the delicate balance that is needed to achieve success among our partners. Our new logo was carefully selected to represent the balanced growth and leverage we feel is imperative in the program administration business.
The rebranding of our company happens to fall on our third anniversary in business. By all measures, the first three years have been a great success with 2011 shaping up to be our best full calendar year ever. In the Q4 of 2010, we conducted our first company-wide strategic planning session that resulted in the foundation for our medium to long-term plan along with our strategic choices and goals for 2011. Our 2011 goals and objectives are focused around customer service, revenue/profit growth, underwriting profit and employee development. Based on our YTD results, we expect to exceed most if not all of our goals and objectives for the year and want to extend our sincere thanks to our broker and carrier partners who continue to make Fulcrum a great success story.
At Fulcrum, we understand we must consistently deliver value to both our broker and carrier partners. I recently asked one of our best broker partners what they liked about doing business with us and he said, “You guys get the big picture and can deliver competitive quotes in a short period of time with a high degree of professionalism.” He went on to describe how some firms either focus on price, but lack the professionalism that builds trust or firms that display a high degree of professionalism, but make the quoting process so difficult they can’t get anything done. Obviously, we were pleased to hear we were striking that delicate balance that helps build the trust needed for a successful relationship.
For those of you that are currently doing business with us, thank you again for all you’ve done to help us grow our young company to what it is today.
